Most "folder" plugins for WordPress invent folders in the database and leave your files in a heap of year-and-month directories. This one puts them in actual folders on your server, gives them addresses you can read out loud, and keeps track of every page that links to them.
What it does, without the brochure voice
- Folders that survive usNothing virtual. Uninstall the plugin and your folders are still on disk, named the way you named them.
- Addresses a human can read/documents/reports/annual-report-2026.pdf, not /wp-content/uploads/2026/09/annual-report-2026-1-scaled.pdf. People notice. They even copy them into emails without wincing.
- "Used in"For every file: the pages, posts, menus, widgets and page-builder blocks that link to it. A warning before you delete something still in use.
- Rename without breaking linksMove or rename a file and the links follow, or a redirect is set. Your 2019 annual report keeps its address.
